➥ We review work from submitters through the ages of 11 and 21.

➥  When submitting content, please ensure that your piece handles all topics respectfully and appropriately for a PG-13 audience. All subjects in your work should serve a clear narrative purpose and avoid explicit details.

To find the theme of the issue you're submitting to, open the form for submissions! At the very top, right under the header of the form which contains the submission period for that issue, you'll see the theme! Anemone's themes will always be one word (though there may be some exceptions for special events) so the range for interpretation is always wide. Get creative, and we're excited to review your work!

Our normal response time will vary from two to four weeks after you submit. If we don't get back to you within that time, please send us a follow-up email regarding your submission! Please include the title of your submission(s) and the type of content it is in your email.

Anemone is a quarterly publishing magazine! Expect issues to be published in January, April, July, and October. Be sure to look out for mini-issues that we'll be publishing during special events!
